Notice of Base Rate Adjustment

Effective September 1, 2026

Dear Grady Rural Water District No. 7 Members,

The Board of Directors of Grady Rural Water District No. 7 has approved an adjustment to the monthly base rate, increasing it to $25.00, effective September 1, 2026.

Like many utilities, the District continues to experience rising costs for materials, equipment, fuel, maintenance, repairs, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day operations. After carefully reviewing the District’s financial needs, the Board determined that increasing the monthly base rate is the best way to maintain the long-term financial health of the system.

By making this adjustment to the base rate, we are able to keep our water usage rates unchanged. This means customers will continue to pay the same rate for the water they use, while the additional base rate revenue will help support the operation, maintenance, and replacement of the infrastructure that delivers safe and reliable water to your home or business.

This decision was not made lightly. Our goal is to continue providing dependable service, maintain our aging infrastructure, prepare for future improvements, and ensure the District remains financially sustainable for years to come.
